During my PhD, I was involved in a freak accident with a large gas fire. I suffered from PTSD, and afterwards, I stayed away from the kitchen stove.

But I missed cooking. And later, I went back into the kitchen to make my favourite meal: a hearty chicken. It helped me fall back in love with cooking again, and to build my confidence back up.
