During lockdown, I planted peas, and they grew well. We had to put nets over the plants so the birds wouldn't eat them. We watered them often, especially in the hot lockdown days.

When they were big enough, we picked them, popped them open, and enjoyed the sweet taste of peas.

I love peace. Raw peas straight from the pod are best. I can eat masses of them, every day, all the time.
